I saw your work on a reblog by damaged-and-dangerous. Holy cow! I'm impressed! By your art, not the reblog. Although the reblog was really cool, too.

Thank you! x

do you make a good income doing what you do? (i ask because i'm interested in freelancing too one day)

I don’t really make an income from my work at the moment, as I’m not actively looking for it. I’m working full time in an office right now so I can save up for university next year. I would love to be able to draw all day, but that’s something I’m aiming for in the next two years to come :-). I do have some freelance work on the side, but those are mainly portrait commissions. x

Hello there. No questions or anything, just wanted to say as a fellow artist, that your work is brilliant. Those photoshop skills, damn! Good luck with everything, darling.

Thanks so much! xo

You should show your best work and also some process shots... its also good to have some life drawing and traditional practice in there to show you're as broad as possible. Your portfolio should reflect you, how you like to work, what work you like to produce and if possible show where youd like to go... generally show you have drawing ability and are enthusiastic about art and illustration and I'm sure you'll have no problem getting a place!! :)

Thanks! I’m not sure if I should approach this any different because it’s a postgraduate course….so I think I should show the direction I want to go in as I have to give a study proposal too. Thanks for the advice ;-) x
